After the storm

Make sure everyone is safe. Stay off the roof.
Write down the date of the storm. This is your date of loss.
Take photos of damage from the ground: shingles, gutters, siding, and inside ceilings.
Cover open areas only if it is safe to do so.

Call your insurance company's claims department to file a claim.
Tell us your adjuster's visit date so we can meet them.
